Living with Purpose
OPENING PRAYER:
Father, as we conclude this devotional journey, help us to live with purpose and intention. May we be inspired by Jesus' example to pursue the lost and share Your love with the world. Amen.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
In this passage, known as the Great Commission, Jesus commands His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, promising His presence with them always.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
REFLECT:
Reflect:
The Great Commission is a powerful reminder of the mission that Jesus has entrusted to us as His followers. It is a call to live with purpose and intention, to go beyond our comfort zones and share the love and message of Jesus with the world. This mission is not just for a select few; it is for all who call themselves followers of Christ. As we reflect on this passage, let us be reminded that we are not alone in this mission. Jesus promises to be with us always, providing the strength and guidance we need to fulfill His call. This assurance gives us the courage to step out in faith and pursue the lost with love and compassion. Let us be encouraged to live with purpose, seeking opportunities to share the gospel and make disciples in our everyday lives. May we be willing to invest in relationships, to listen with love, and to extend the grace and hope of Jesus to those around us.
