"Victory in the Unseen: Trusting God's Plan"

OPENING PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, open our eyes to see Your hand at work in our lives. Help us to trust in Your plan, even when we cannot see the outcome. Amen.

READ: Judges 7:19-22 (NIV)

"It was just after midnight, after the changing of the guard, when Gideon and the hundred men with him reached the edge of the Midianite camp. Suddenly they blew the ram's horn and broke their clay jars. Then all three groups blew their horns and broke their jars. They held the blazing torches in their left hand and the horns in their right hands. And they all shouted, 'A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!'"

Judges 7:19-22 (NIV)

REFLECT:

Gideon's victory over the Midianites was unconventional, to say the least. Armed with trumpets, jars, and torches, Gideon's army witnessed God turning the enemy against themselves. Pastor Jarred's message highlighted this as a powerful example of God's ability to work in unexpected ways. This story reminds us that God's plans often defy human logic, but they are always perfect.

Jarred's personal journey of overcoming the cycle of failure in his health is a testament to trusting God's plan. Just as Gideon had to trust God's strategy, we are called to trust God's plan for our lives, even when it seems impossible. In his message, Jarred encouraged us to look for God's hand at work in our circumstances, knowing that He is always working for our good.

Trusting God's plan requires faith and patience. It means believing that God is already working behind the scenes, orchestrating events for His glory and our benefit. As we trust Him, we can rest in the assurance that He is writing a story of victory in our lives, just as He did for Gideon.
