OPENING PRAYER:
Dear God, as we come to the end of our week and this devotional journey, help us to focus on the mission You have given us. Guide us to live out our faith with purpose and passion. Amen.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

In the Great Commission, Jesus gives His disciples a clear mission: to make disciples of all nations. This mission is the central focus of the church and the calling of every believer. It encapsulates the mission of the church and the calling of every believer. The command to "go and make disciples of all nations" emphasizes the global scope of our mission. It is not limited to our immediate surroundings but extends to the ends of the earth.
Baptizing and teaching are integral parts of this mission. Baptism signifies the initiation into the community of believers, while teaching involves nurturing and discipling new believers to obey everything Jesus has commanded. This comprehensive approach ensures that the mission is not just about conversion but about fostering a deep, transformative relationship with Jesus.
