Summary:

  • Compensation: $16.43/hr
  • Reports to: Facilities Director

Description:

The Maintenance Technician will support the ministries of Pathway Church by maintaining and caring for the building and grounds at all locations.  Will be responsible for painting, making repairs, maintaining equipment, providing installations, completing indoor and outdoor projects and will perform light custodial duties.  Will assist with outside vendors, inspectors and contract services with access to the building.  Must interact with staff and guests with a friendly attitude and assist them with their needs.  This position will be based out of the Westlink Campus (2001 N Maize Rd), but may need to travel to other campuses, but not regularly.  This is a 20 hour position, Monday-Friday, schedule is flexible and can be agreed upon by the employee and Facilities Director upon hire.

Position Requirements:

  • A commitment to the beliefs, vision and mission of Pathway Church is required. Employee must be willing to participate in staff meetings and events that will include spiritual and faith-based elements.
  • Must have pride in work performed and strive to complete tasks with a high level of excellence and integrity.
  • Must have experience with small motor/appliance repair, drywall repair, painting, general plumbing, general electrical repair and maintenance & custodial equipment. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently to complete tasks and projects on time. Must be a self-starter.
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds on a routine basis and be able to stand and walk for the majority of work shift.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel between job assignments/campuses.
  • Ability to work flexible hours or shifts, as needed, to achieve objectives is preferred.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge and skills to be able to navigate e-mail and the online work order system.
