Embracing the New
OPENING PRAYER:
Father, open our hearts to the new things You are doing in our lives. Help us to embrace Your vision and step out in faith. Amen.
"He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!' Then he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'"
Revelation 21:5 (NIV)
REFLECT:
Pastor Carter’s message video concluded with a powerful call to embrace the new things God is doing in our lives and communities. Todd shared the church's vision to plant micro campuses and reach people in prisons, senior living facilities, and around the world. This vision is a testament to God's promise in Revelation 21:5, where He declares, "I am making everything new."
Embracing the new requires us to step out of our comfort zones and trust in God's leading. Todd encouraged us to be open to God's work in our lives, to pray for His guidance, and to be willing to go where He leads. This is a call to live with expectancy, believing that God is doing a new thing in us and through us.
Reflect on the new things God is calling you to embrace. What areas of your life is He inviting you to surrender to Him? Embracing the new is not always easy, but it is an opportunity to experience God's transformative power. As we step out in faith, we become part of His story, impacting lives and advancing His kingdom.
As you consider this, be encouraged that God is faithful to His promises. He is making all things new, and He invites us to join Him in His work. Let us be open to His leading, trusting that He will guide us and provide for us as we step into the new.
I WILL STATEMENT:
I will pray for God to open my heart to see the impossible is possible.
CLOSING PRAYER:
Thank You, Lord, for the new things You are doing in our lives. Help us to embrace Your vision and step out in faith, trusting in Your promise to make all things new. May we be open to Your leading and willing to follow wherever You guide us. Amen.
